He's right, I suppose, and Reagan sure proved that style is important, but that's not what I would call a "slam". A slam is "The President should be impeached for ordering the assassination of American citizens." "The President should telephone members of Congress" is minor criticism, and I think it would be hopeless navel-gazing for the networks to make a big deal out of Chris Matthews' tactical advice.[/quote]
