I'm a good candidate - with very light skin, and I basically had 5 blotches. I went in for 2 that bugged me, and the derm actually found three more that were emerging. I went in for a consult and he just zapped me right there, so depending on your issues, it may not be that expensive.

I definitely recommend going to a board certified derm who is certified to work with a laser. I opted for that instead of going to a spa type place.

Please share who you went to. Thanks.

Office near American University. Board certified dermatologists and certified to work with lasers.

Thanks. Any particular doctor you recommend?

I think everyone there is really good - that is pretty much what they do. Dr. Adrien is the "founder" but any of the docs should be able to work with you. I believe the consult is free.

Thank you!

Not PP but I agree that if ti melasma- lasers will be the worst thing ever.. please ask them to do a test in an inconspicuous place.. I have melasma and did that and woa- it was like a dark freckle- cringe at the idea of my entire melasma being dark brown versus shades of brown (which sucks too- especially sine sun can make it worse).

Good to know. Thanks for the warning 22:56. Definitely will ask for a patch test first.
