This swimsuit for apple shape?

Love Tommy Bahama suits, really flattering for me when I was around a size 14, and I actually wore them pregnant too.

I also like the Land's End suits.

I'd buy the Lane Bryant suit for myself. The lands end ones are good too. I have a huge chest and I'd run from your original suggestion, OP. I think the contrast lines just highlight the boobs instead of blending them in.

I have it in a teal color.

It looks good on it's own, but I like to be a little more covered up so I pair it with swim shorts.

Another apple shape here and I agree that this is a better style than empire waist anything...
I have a suit similar to this and i wore it all summer and it are me feel incredibly sexy.

OP, you sound like you have the same exact shape as me. FWIW, I actually have the first suit you posted about, as well as the other Grecian Land's end suit. The original on you posted is bad - not necessarily because of the suit, but those straps are super thin and suck at holding up the girls. The Grecian one held up well and was flattering - although I like the Land Bryant one too ( thinking about gettting it myself!)

If I were in your shoes, I'd do something like this:

Or maybe this, but I'm not loving the pattern. But the Empire waist might help break up the proportions of your body.

Also, go by World Market and find a really great sarong with nice bright colors to use as a cover up. It will help draw the eye down from the problem areas.

Good luck!

This are hideous - the swim dress, especially. Sorry PP.

OP, I think your posted suit is fine, especially if you have nice arms/shoulders. I'm sure J. Crew has some nice one-piece suits on clearance now as well.

I have this suit as well and I am exactly the same shape/size as the OP. Get this suit. It is great.

The Lands End Grecian suit IS great, but it is also $110, which is exactly what the OP said she didn't have to spend.

Are you kidding? As if JCrew has a reputation for flattering apple shaped women. Do they even carry over size 10?

I have to say I'm an apple shape for sure. Small breast, large waist, smaller hips. This is something new for me, so I am having a rough time finding a bathing suite that I would wear. Personally, I would not wear any of the one pieces unless they look like the dress. However if they are tight on me I will not wear them. I like a long loose fitting tankini.
