What is disturbing to read is that this fight was started by the coaches, the supposed role models. They should be immediately sacked and the team benched. But I think these teams have continued to play the season. What kind of lesson is that? What about high expectations for conduct? And didn't Rhee speak at the Anacostia graduation one year? Isn't that a school that was making good progress?

You must have read the hype about Anacostia and assumed it was actual information.

I think the idea was that Anacostia was going to bloom under new charter-school leadership, but that didn't happen and was not reported on. It faded quietly into the night like the Capital Gains incentive program and the promise to close the achievement gap.
