Facebook friend just posted photo of her sister

My X has photos of his mother in her coffin on his iPhone. Totally culturally appropriate. Is it weird that I focus on his devotion to her or how proud he was that they were able to see her off so well? Sure, it was surprising the first time I saw them, but once you put it into context and view it with compassion it seems less shocking somehow.

OP here. If I thought for a second that she would be on DCUM I would not have posted here. I am 100% sure she is not on this board. I was just shocked so I posted here. I fo accept your feedback though I assure you I did not post here to be unkind.

I have only seen one person taking pictures at a funeral. It was so very strange to me. Had I not previously had issues with the man or if he knew my grandmother (the departed), I probably wouldn't have found it offensive. It is a bit shocking if it is outside of your scope of experience, though.
