Is it possible to check if a house is a "murded house"

That guy invited those kids into his house and he wanted sex from them a far cry from the previous murder that happened there.

Still, bad imprinted energy in that house now...even if they are unrelated.

Where are you getting that information?

They weren't kids. Please stop calling them that. They were young men.

As I recall, the first murder at the Columbia Blvd. house[url] was a family scenario that could have happened anywhere as well.

There is a house in Bethesda where a recent murder occurred; it sold this spring for 10% over list so there were clearly multiple buyers who didn't know about it or didn't care.

In Maryland, realtors, even ones representing the buyer, cannot give information about crimes or deaths in the house or neighborhood. This is to protect the property values of the house and surrounding properties. OP, your friend should contact the local police precinct for the info she's seeking.

Not PP, but...

Interesting take on the issue here, as well...

And the first murder at the house was in fact random violence that had nothing to do with the family living there:

I thought that for well-known cases, the realtor was supposed to disclose this information precisely because it does impact the value of the home. This is not the case if someone dies in the home due to natural causes.

It's the opposite, at least in Maryland. See Washington Post link above or google "stigmatized properties." In Maryland, a murder that happened in a home is not considered a material fact that needs to be disclosed.

I wish Realtors were able to disclose this type of information.

But, if you ask, is the realtor supposed to answer truthfully? I mean, she can't actually LIE, can she?

Since is most likely that Realtor will keep the true to herself then I want to know how easy is to get that info from the police station?. Should they just have a public site for shoppers?

If I were worried about something like that I would just ask the neighbors. You should probably talk to a few neighbors before making an offer anyways.

Realtor here. I wouldn't lie, but I would tell you that if that information was important to you that you would need to do that research for yourself. Just like when people ask me if there is a lot of crime in a neighborhood, or whether the schools are good.

Jeffrey Dahmer lived there
