
This was no "mistake" --it was a all staged. He got the best of both worlds. He got his cute family out there and then got to say hmm I don't think I will do this again to pacify the people who weren't psyched that he did it. Remember nothing in politics is an accident. |

Mistakes and accidents are not quite the same. It was certainly not an accident and was well executed, but I think Obama felt guilty about letting himself take advantage of his kids. Going back as far as Senator Muskie's tears and George Romney's brainwashing that killed two very promising presidential campaigns, and as recent as Phil Gramm and Wesley Clark, I'd say politicians prove themselves very human in their capacity to err.
