I go there often (though I live in Loudoun County). I love even just driving around the country roads gawking at the beatiful homes and amazing scenery.

Has anyone ever been out to that Dinosaur land place in VA? Worth it [the drive]?

Glen Burnie made this list? seriously?! I'm really curious about why. (I live 20 mins from there, I can't think of anyone who considers that a day trip spot! I guess for the carnival when it's here, but other than that...) Very possible I'm missing something there though, so I am curious!

If you're looking into that area- severna park, md may be a better bet. About 10-15minutes north of Annapolis, and right now there's a smaller carnival going on for the next week at earleigh heights fire dept. that afaik usually tends to have several rides for the littler kids including a carousel, boats/cars/etc to ride in, a kiddie "roller coaster", etc. There's also kinderfarm park, and you could visit annapolis all in a day if you wanted. Glen Burnie is also just a little further north (another 10-15minutes.)

Annapolis also has a little childrens museum (Chesapeake childrens museum.) I've never been personally, but it looks primarily geared for kids 2-6years old.

You could also check out Chesapeake family magazine online for their events listing/local directory for any of these three towns to get information on what's going on this month.
