Need concrete actions to take during divorce to stop hating my ex-husband and move on

Take a book when you go to get the kids so that you are not watching the clock.
If it's really abusive can you bring a cam corder and (in the open where he sees) cam corder the pickups and drop offs so he will be on his best behavior? Act like it's a fun thing you are filming. "Hey everybody, smile!" I worry about my ex getting married and taking my kids too. But, it is my belief that unless you are a crack whore the courts generally don't want to end parent child relationships. So the best he can probably hope for is 50 50 so he doesn't have to pay you support. Have you discussed this with your lawyer? Don't engage. Don't respond. Keep your comments to time, date, place and minimal info regarding children. Do you have someone who can read his emails for you? So you can get the details you need but not have to read all the crap? It doesn't matter what he thinks. It doesn't matter what he blames you for. His opinion is irrelevant. Just nod and say "hmm. Interesting". And DON'T RESPOND. Is this guy SH we are talking about here by any chance? |
