Alternative to Boboli pizza crust?

i agree with naan. or pita. doesn't have that preservative-y taste and isn't so salty as the ones like boboli.

We love Vicolo frozen cornmeal pizza crusts from Whole Foods as an almost instant meal option on busy nights. Very wholesome ingredients, completely painless to use, but pretty pricey. (Around $5 for two small crusts.)

For days when you have more time but less money, Trader Joe's wholewheat dough is wonderful and costs just $0.99 per medium-size pizza. Let it come to room temp first to make it a lot easier to roll out.

Safeway also has dough both in the freezer case and now in the area near the yogurt. I like the frozen dough better, but it does require some planning in terms of thawing either overnight or for about 5 hours pre-dinner.

The stack of greek style pita rounds (don;t know the name..you find it on one of the bread tables) at Costco is awesome for this. I freeze the package and when my kid wants pizza I take one out, toast lightly, then cover w/sauce and cheese and broil and it's out of this world. Seriously.

I'm a pillsbury dough fan for pizza. I have tried Trader Joe's twice and it wasn't good (to me). Could be user error.

I have found lots of things to dislike at TJs (produce and moldy cheese, for instance), but the whole wheat pizza dough is not one of them. But others are free to blow all of $0.99 trying it out for themselves.

The better option is using a pre-made dough IMO...but if that's too slow, try flatbread or french bread pizza. Delish.

Flatbread from Trader Joe's. Try it brushed with olive oil then sprinkled with lightly sauted red bell pepper and onion with seasoning of choice (I like zatar), thinly sliced tomatoes, chunks of goat cheese, and lots of sunflower seeds. Heat in a hot oven for about 7 minutes. Yum.
