She might be trying to show off to get the ex's attention and make him jealous. Maybe they had a fight one time about her and the family friend and he thought they were too flirty, so this is her way of making him think that was all true. Or maybe she's just trying to get some sort of reaction from him that shows he is upset about their breakup. Since he isn't posting things on fb, I'd go with the latter, especially if it's getting a reaction from the ex's friends.
