Official diagnosis is PDD-NOS, but that's just an autism-in-waiting label. He's definitely autistic, and not HFA. 6YO boy, and cannot handle himself or control any impulses.

Fascinating - given the title asking about "your" diagnosis, I had assumed this thread was about whether parents had any dxs!

My oldest child: ADHD
My youngest child: Autism
My husband: brief period of anxiety/depression that required medication, and highly likely undiagnosed ADHD
Me: no diagnosis, but with all of the above and holding down a full time job? I think the terms "goofy" and "la la" suffice!

Expressive speech delay. Suspected motor planning difficulties. ASD seems to have been ruled out but there are some ASD traits.

For the parents on this board, I would say your diagnosis is nothing short of Heroism. Okay-- Heroic disorder
