Vent/Rant: Unhappy about TTC again after a break

Weird. That pp should read "starting at thirty-eight," but it did that weird happy face instead.

OP, are you doing clomid through an OB/GYN or an RE? And have you been tested for immune or blood clotting issues?
Anonymous
17:53 - through an RE. And yes. Tested for everything. All normal. (We've got opinions from both Shady Grove and Dominion.) Right now the current theory (hope, really) is that one of the earlier D&Cs caused scarring that obstructed uterine blood flow during the subsequent PGs and caused the MCs. We spent the last three months addressing the scarring problem, which is now solved. The only trouble is, we don't actually know when the scarring happened. Could have been when I was 28, or could have been the last MC at 40. So, it's just a guess that it's related to the MCs. Could have nothing to do with it.

I am with Dominion and don't feel like they look at complicated cases close enough. So, who knows whether you got the best expert opinion.

OP, how did your scarring from D&C get diagnosed?
Anonymous
Your husband, bless his heart, is pinning a bit too much on Clomid. Which you already know, I'm sure. This would be so much easier if you both were on the same page. Not EASY mind you, but easier.

19:00 - The scarring was diagnosed through a hysteroscopy. Then the doc did a saline sonogram to get a better look. It wasn't horrible, but possibly just bad enough to cause problems.

19:19 - You're absolutely right. Unlike me, he hasn't had a Gyno telling him the clock is ticking for the past 15 years. All this stuff is totally new for him and there's a lot of missing data. *smile* He looks at me and thinks I'm healthy and that this whole business is just bad luck. It doesn't help that the RE's can't give us a solid reason.

Best of luck to you, OP.
