Question for Feds: Government Rates at Hotels

| most places never ask if it's for personal or business travel. they just want to see your ID. |

| Agree that the hotel policy will state whether they offer it for personal travel. We've used it at the Hampton Inn and some Hiltons. |

| Totally agree with other posters. Be sure to check around - some hotels (Marriott) offer much deeper govt discounts than others. |
