Gwyneth

Didn't the Dixie Chicks countrify it first?

She's trying to compete with her husband. She should leave the singing to him.

She needs to not sing. She's not DH's type, BTW.

Two thumbs up.

Wait, is the version of Cruising Together that plays on the radio Gwyneth? It doesn't sound like her....

She just doesn't seem like the kind of woman you would want as a friend.

Although, I applaud her for being the hands-down last female celebrity to not have ridiculous hair extensions.

Not mine. He's kind of repulsed by women that skinny. Jessica Alba is his dream woman!

I think one of the reviewers said she screamed her songs and wasn't a good singer. I agree. A lot of my friends think she's gorgeous...I really don't...but she is thin and blonde.

Yeah, probably. But then, she'd never put up with his crap for longer than a NY nanosecond.

I like Gwyneth well enough. She's from my generation. While I don't appreciate her singing and recognize how annoying maybe 80% of her GOOPishness can be, I still have some affection for her from back in the day.

I have never understood the people who think she is gorgeous and, while I enjoyed her guest role on Glee last night, it just reenforced to me how plain she is. Her nose is too big and her hair is stringy. She actually looks best with her hair in a pony tail (which is just wierd, IMO). I think she seems pretty cool but I don't think she is pretty, and certainly far from gorgeous. And, for me its not because she is a skinny blonde, as I usually think skinny blondes are the prettiest chicks out there. I do think she has the cool factor and the chic factor.

Yes, her hair is stringy-- so glad you said that. It may have been chic when she first did it, but that was years ago. Time to update, Gwyneth! And lose the raccoon eyes while you're at it.

Also, she has no figure. Sure, she's really thin, but she has no ass, no breasts, no noticeable waist. She's like a pancake. I don't get the adoration of her figure. She does have really pretty skin, though, and I think she's smarter than the average celeb. She also seems to really enjoy her children in a cool way.

I agree with you re: parenting, and I like GOOP, a lot, the cleanse soup is amazing. I think she is an unusual beauty, no one feature is stand-out gorgeous (they err towards undesirable, in fact) but it all looks good together. I will always love her because of roles like Emma and The Royal Tenenbaums.

Her Godfather is Steven Speilberg. Enough said.

I know you're probably talking about your DH, but my first response to your post was that perhaps she's not her DH's type...
