No, but my DH was...we laughed about it at the time. There was this girl that seriously showed up and would stand behind him at every bar we went to...she would then hound him and stick to him like glue until we'd try to throw her off our trail and move onto the next bar. We were in our 20s and engaged at the time and were always with a big pack of friends who also found it more entertaining than scary. We were naive--guess she could have been a serious psycho. though she did not know where we lived or even Dh's name.

The recent Jersey Shore episodes about Paulie's stalker brought back funny memories.

Being truly stalked has to be terrifying and shouldn't be taken lightly.

If you are stalked, take it seriously and yes, GIFT OF FEAR is a great, great book. I read it after, of course but am glad I did.

Yes, by a stranger in college. He then waited for me outside the house I rented off campus, and raped me. He knew EVERYTHING about my habits, my friends, my LIFE. Pretty much fucked me up for a long time.
