| The honey wheat and Montana white breads are very good. DD won't eat any other kind now. |
| I change my order every week. I always get milk and almost always get eggs, but it can vary. I get a lot of honey, yogurt, cheese, and butter, too. I usually go through 1/2 gallon of milk a week. I haven't had an issue with spoilage of any of their products. |

We get 5 bottles of 2% milk each week. It def'y keeps longer than a week, though...some weeks (like when we all had the flu, for example) we don't drink it all and we get a milk backlog. Never had a problem with it going bad. We also get a dozen eggs every 2 weeks. The butter and yogurt are fabulous - the butter is sooooooo good - and in the past we did the ice cream delivery whcih was delicious. Good cheese, too.
We LOVE SMC. The delivery guy is super nice, they are on time and fast and the food is just great. HIGH marks. |
| maybe I am just being a do-do - I assumed that the spout was open at the end! |
We have the same delivery schedule as Jeff and the milk definitely lasts two weeks. It's honestly the best milk I've ever had. |

we have been customers for going on 4 years. We get 3 gallons a week and usually run through it all. If not we cut our order back for the next week. It definitely keeps but as others have said keep it in the main fridge and not the door.
We regularly get butter, eggs, cream cheese. New yogurt is better then the first attempts which we found too sweet. Honey is great. Some meats we like - hot dogs, ox tails. Chicken is expensive but very very worth the price. We get the turkey every year at the holidays as well. We also do south mountain veggie and like it although some veggies we are not used to end up with the neighbor. For sure in the summer you need ice but in the winter we never do. If folks have not tried the chocolate chip cookie dough we highly recommend it. |
| does south mountain veggie have a different website? I was trying to see if adding that on made sense. |
|
Yes, the veggie and ice cream sites are different. I think the veggie site is by a different team, I think?
We used the veggie service for awhile, but I'm not sure if we had a bad date or what, but we weren't too happy with the produce and in the end cancelled. We still love and use the creamery, though! |
| www.southmountainveggie.com - You will get a different delivery day for the veggies. Ours has been consistently good this fall and winter although it took them a few months to get the kinks out. |
| Milk is great. Yogurt seems to have artificial colors? Or too much sugar. Anyone have an update? I haven't ordered those for a while. Thx. |
Spouty thing? I didn't know they had a spouty thing. I need to get one! |
| Are SMC products organic? If so, some or all? Tia |
|
They are not certified organic BUT they do follow all the sustainable practices they can. No pesticides in the fields. No hormones. If you have ever checked out what it takes to be certified organic it is easy to see how small farms have a difficult time with compliance.

It's under Home Delivery Helpfuls; "Pour Spouts $1.50 This will work on either the 1/2 gallon or quart bottle. Comes in very handy for pouring into bottles or cups. Price is per spout." |
