Private & Independent Schools
Public schools include support personnel like counselors, remedial teachers, etc. in their ratio--not just teacher to # of students in classroom. |
| Yes, please, please don't take this website seriously! I've taught HS for 10 years and in my earlier years made the mistake of checking this website on occasion--if we are to take every comment made by an angry teenager to heart about his or her teacher, we teachers would have pretty crushed egos. |
| This site is hilarious! I went on my school site and some of the teachers named have never worked at the schoo...in fact, I have never heard of theml, 2 of the teachers died several years ago, and I have a current rating as a really good teacher and I am not a teacher (I have been a dean for 5 years). It is fun for a good laugh, but don't take it seriousy at all. |
Yes. So they are lying to make themselves look good. |
| This site is sorely out of date. (as is ratemyprofessors.com) I tend to think the OP was astroturfing, to be honest. |
| Checked this list against the current teacher list at one of the schools and very few were still relevant...many had been posted 8 years ago. |
| seems to be a knock-off of the also-not-too-useful "rate my professors." That has died away as colleges/universities make their own teacher evaluations more readily available. Maybe private schools should do that???? |
