rate my teachers

Public schools include support personnel like counselors, remedial teachers, etc. in their ratio--not just teacher to # of students in classroom.

Yes, please, please don't take this website seriously! I've taught HS for 10 years and in my earlier years made the mistake of checking this website on occasion--if we are to take every comment made by an angry teenager to heart about his or her teacher, we teachers would have pretty crushed egos.

This site is hilarious! I went on my school site and some of the teachers named have never worked at the schoo...in fact, I have never heard of theml, 2 of the teachers died several years ago, and I have a current rating as a really good teacher and I am not a teacher (I have been a dean for 5 years). It is fun for a good laugh, but don't take it seriousy at all.

Yes. So they are lying to make themselves look good.

This site is sorely out of date. (as is ratemyprofessors.com) I tend to think the OP was astroturfing, to be honest.

Checked this list against the current teacher list at one of the schools and very few were still relevant...many had been posted 8 years ago.

seems to be a knock-off of the also-not-too-useful "rate my professors." That has died away as colleges/universities make their own teacher evaluations more readily available. Maybe private schools should do that????
