OP here. Thanks. I may brave Tysons L & T. For other PP. Yes, cap sleeves are evil. I have the same toned type of arms but cap sleeves make them look big. I don't like the way I look in cardigans most cardigans. Most cardigans I see were meant for women with a small frame and delicate shoulders. That is not me.

I sometimes wear petites (my torso is on the shorter side), and I'll second the recommendation for Boden. The way they are cut, they might fit you pretty well. They also include pretty good garment measurements on their site, so you have a better idea of how it might fit you.
Personally, I don't mind sleeveless dresses, as I generally throw on a jacket. A lot of long sleeved dresses bind at the shoulder (strong shoulders and arms here). And my office can be hot at times. You might also try belting a cardigan. Michelle Obama pulls it off quite well. She is not petite by any means, but she does have killer arms and broad shoulders. |
