But you don't know what you would do in his shoes with all the differennt circumstances and nuances involved. Noone can imagine what they would do in his shoes except 42 other men. Sorry, but you just cannot imagine the things the president has to consider. I don't think it is a great comparison, but here goes. Before you became a mother, I would venture that you would look at how other people raised their children, interacted with their children, disciplined their children, etc. You probably said on more than one occassion, if that was my child, I would . . . You had no idea what you were saying. Now that you are a parent and have to experience the different situations, ramifications, nuances, etc. you have somewhat of an insight on what you might do given all the information. Unless you have walked in those old, tired dusty shoes you have no idea what you would do given the same information, situation and ramifications. IJS
