Which coffee table do you prefer?

I LOVE the Square Pia coffee table, but Crate & Barrel no longer carry it!

NP here. Rethink glass with young children. Not because of the fingerprints but safety. We had a glass top that DD broke and she was cut badly. She was skipping by the table with a toy in her hand and bounced the toy down onto the glass, not even very hard, and it shattered.

Thanks! I don't have that sofa (yet!) and plan on getting it next year (or something similar: brown leather sofa).

PP that posted the wood coffee tables - I love that style, but I really need glass because it is a small space.

So, knowing that I am going to get that sofa or something similar (maybe one from CB with more "clean" lines to work in my smaller space) do you guys think the second one is the best choice for me? http://www.crateandbarrel.com/furniture/accent-tables/pia-coffee-table/f1184

We have the Lancaster 88"--got it in June love, love it--so deep so sensual and cool in the summer. Now I don't worry about spills from the kids as much.

Yes I do. The baby is almost 11m and is into everything so I can already imagine how the coffee table with have tons of fingertips, etc. But I am ok with it on a daily basis and when we are expecting guests I can just wipe it with Windex.

I LOVE the look and practicality of wood better, but I really don't' think it is flowing well right now. My living room is looking too small and "boxed"/heavy since I installed the Manhattan tv stand.

Two things OP. Glass is easily shattered if a toddler thumps soemthing down on it andf that is someting boys espcially will do (I have both but now Elemetary school-aged). I too prefer glas topped tables but you have to traiun your children to either stay away from it or not thump/pound thiungs and the 2nd is almost impossibel.

Also, if you lioving room is small and looking small with your new dark armoire/tv cabinet, that big dark leather sofa is a HUGE MISTAKE!! Do not buy it for that room. Its much betterto get a smaller scaled sofa or apartment-sized sofa with smaller arm. the huge roll arms on that leather sofa alone make it a bad choice. You do not need big arms like that and they will not work in a small room. That sofa will inhale your room. Look for soswenmthing smaller and with cleaner (i.e., scaled down) lines!!! A lighter color like a beige basetweave would also be a better choice. Seriously, stop with all the bog dark heavy upholstered furniture and your coffee tabel options will open up.
