Crash Diet 911

Is this the one where you drink lemonade with cayenne pepper or something? Are you allowed to eat anything else or is it all liquid? I don't think I'm at the liquide "clense" point yet, but I might have to break that out in another week.

It's easier than you think. The lemonade is very tasty and surprisingly fullfilling. I don't put the cayenne in the drink. I take it in a capsule.

And no, you cannot eat anything.

Wait, so for the last 12 days you've ingested nothing but master cleanse lemon water? Seriously? How are you still functioning? What is the average length of time that someone usually does that for?

For lunch I had some turkey meatballs with marinara and for dinner I made salad and baked chicken with a balsamic and teriyaki sauce. Some carbs, but not much.

I did have a glass of wine to finish off the bottle, but no more wine for two weeks now.

I'm off to the grocery store to get some yogurt, egg beaters, lots of veggies, and maybe some deli meat.

Thanks everyone! Keep the tips coming--it's keeping me motivated.

If you're trying to be hardcore, I'd watch the marinara/balsamic/teriyaki sauces for added sugar. Some of them are loaded with it.

Not the PP, but I did a similar liquid diet for 10 days and lost about 12 pounds. As soon as I started eating again I gained about 4 back immediately, but kept the rest off.

I assume you want to be healthy...maybe I'm wrong. So how in the heck do you work out with only nourishing your body with lemon water and cayenne? I work out 5xs a week, 3 of those days spent lifting weights. I could not imagine stepping foot in a gym when on a liquid diet. I think I'd pass out. Also, as an exerciser, I'd be so disappointed after two weeks to realize my body had used lost so much muscle to get down in weight. How hard it is to build muscle and a shapely body, it sure would suck to be left with all the flab and lost the weight in muscle.

Try taking Sudafed for several days. It always helps me lose water weight and suppresses my appetite.

It's easier than you think. The lemonade consists of lemon juice, maple syrup, water and cayenne. You can drink it as often as you get hungry. It's a min of 10 days to get the detoxing effects. Stay on it to lose weight. Can do it for upwards of 40 days.

The maple syrup gives your body as many calories as it needs to function. I walk in the mornings with no problems with my energy levels. No sugar crash either!! Just caffiene withdrawl on day 2. An advil was necessary for that.

Here's the recipe:

2 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, preferably organic
2 Tablespoons Grade B Organic Maple Syrup
8-10 oz clean water
1/10 tsp cayenne pepper

Make fresh each time. 1/2 lemon can produce all the lemon juice you need if you use a lemon press. Drink at least 6 lemonades per day. You can have as many as 12, although I've never drank more than 9 on any given day.

To enhance the cleanse. Take some digestive enzymes several times per day. Exercise as much as you like.

FWIW, I'm on Day 13 of the Master Cleanse and I've lost 12 lbs so far. Easiest weight I've ever lost.

Why is master clense so easy? Because you don't have to think about food, or because you actually feel satisfied and don't want to eat?

And, do you poop while on it? Seriously.

Yes to both. Although it really sucks when I smell fast food, pizza, popcorn, tacos, etc....they are so hard to resist. But, when I start getting hungry, I drink the lemonade and my tummy is perfectly satisfied....as satisfied as if I'd had those foods that I craved. The first day isn't bad, the second days is tough because of the caffeine withdrawl, but after that, you're golden.

About the poo....after a couple days, it's liquid. That is just part of the cleanse. All the toxins are releasing through your BMs.

Here's the book I read:
http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Master-Cleanse-Step---Step/dp/1569756139/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289065871&sr=8-1

I believe someone told me that there is an ebook somewhere, but I haven't looked for it.
