+1 lots of people wearing denim skirts and they look nice. |
| get rid of this for sure: tops with trumpet sleeves |
| Handbags that you don't wear anymore, are in fair condition or seem too young for you. If they have big branding, are not a premium brand, and you don't like it now, don't expect to warm up to it in the future or that your kids will want it. |
| That sounds like a good approach. If you truly love something and feel fantastic every time you wear it, though, keep it. |
| Get rid of cold shoulder tops. |
| Get rid of anything you think doesn’t flatter you. |
The bolded |

I am so over cottagecore, but for some reason that trend has not yet ended.
I am also over brown, which has been trendy for seven years. It is flattering on me, but I will only wear a little at a time now. Sunglasses are smaller overall, these days. |
| Pretty much everything. Why not enjoy a fresh start? |

Is a denim pencil skirt "in"? Or is this out?
Are wide leg jeans more in style than straight leg? I have some Everlane skinny jeans. Do I get rid of those? Why is this so hard? |
The environment, limited money, limited time |
| Get rid of the skinny jeans if they are truly skinny jeans (eg they fit like leggings). There’s a cohort of 50-something women in N Arlington who wear skinny jeans with pumps from the 2010s while running errands and it looks so try-hard and dated. |
So maybe they aren't as dated as you think for 50-something year olds from wealthy areas? |
| Keep what sparks joy. I know it’s silly but it works. |
