Don't suggest Thursday either. That's essentially the "Friday" for that week since Friday is a federal holiday. Suggest Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Why is your office open July 3? Since July 4 is in a weekend, its traditional/typical for businesses to observe the day off on July 3.

Absolutely not! People will travel most.of that week, definitely Thursday and Friday. You could possibly do Monday or Tuesday.

Retail, restaurants, entertainment industry (DJs, party/moonbounce events), car dealers will all be working on July 3.Even July 4! And they will be way too busy to "network".
