How so? It’s straight up facts. All the teachers feel this way about any high SES school. The kids are easy but the parents are a nightmare. |

This HAS TO BE A NEEDY OAKTON PARENT that is posting on DCUM, so the point was made and the point is now proven-
"This comment reeks of insecurity and jealousy on your part" |
Some of the parents may be, but for the most part the parents at a higher SES school are appreciated since they stay on top of their kids and raise kids who actually come to class prepared, do their assignments, and don't get into trouble. |

| The rumor of West Springfield AP coming to Oakton is false. |
| There was some comment in a Principal's email a while back that said they anticipated having a new principal before school got out. Guess that didn't happen. |

It takes months to replace a principal. |
| The last principal was promoted in February! |
They have to give Jameile Choice a little more time before he recycles the line that the principal search was the most exhaustive he's ever witnessed. |
They didn't open the req right when the principal left. It took a while. A school counselor told me in late March that she wasn't sure what the hold up was as other principal openings were already in the search process. |
+1 The district is way too top-heavy, with way too many people who haven’t taught in decades. |
