It's the same damn schools, all the time, just slightly reshuffled.

These "rankings" are beyond worthless.

The already known, lol.

Most of the top universities are 100 to 300 years old.

I agree with this. Housing is Cal's pain point - a very real issue for kids who are being forced to move off off off campus. Not ideal

Penn ahead of MIT, Princeton and yale? GTFOH
Dartmouth ahead of CalTech? GTFOH

This list makes USNWR look decent.

I like combining Universities and Colleges.

40% outcome
20% academics
20% selectivity
20% campus life

Of course, how each of these categories is defined is not immediately obvious.

40% OUTCOMES
;5, 15, and 30-year median career earnings paired with alumni prestige across industries.

This is really unclear. How exactly do they measure it? I'm sure they don't track every single person who went to that school.

It's nice to see the LACs in with the rest at least.

Nice to see Fordham in the top 100. I've always felt it was underrated for what it offers.

? why. This ranking seems like it's more about free speech and balanced politics than academics or outcomes.

Our rankings combine publicly available information from sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the Department of Education’s College Scorecard, and the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression’s College Free Speech Rankings. We also developed original measures exclusively for this project, such as the ideological balance of student political organizations and the partisan makeup of faculty campaign contributions.
