Also, the acoustics up high are awful. You won’t understand a word.

That's crazy. I thought people aren't allowed to reserve seats.

They aren't allowed to reserve seats

Yeah, just sit in them. What are they going to do?

You're recommending initiating a confrontation at your kid's graduation ceremony, even if you win you've already lost.

Big families will block off big blocks of seats. To get prime seats, get there 30 minutes before the doors open, anything more than an hour isn't necessary. EBA isn't that big, you can show up any time and get seated (as long as you can handle the stairs.)

What time do the doors open?

No confrontation required. They can go find other seats. It's simply not my problem.

Any advanced entry for handicap or do they go in with the mad rushers?

People should either go to the bathroom beforehand, or not drink much. Everyone was supposed to wait to leave until the graduates exited, but people got up and left, blocking the view before it was over. I understand if it's the elderly or disabled wanting to head out early, but most people don't listen to the rules. Also people scream, and then you can't hear the next name being called. I feel like the presenters could have reiterated the rules mid-way through for better crowd control. I guess everyone had to go to the bathroom because by the end it was one diploma right after the next.

Get there like 45 minutes early. I didn't see mad rushers, but since the graduates have to be there an hour early, the parents already fill up most of the seats.

The acoustics there are really terrible. It was extremely difficult to understand anything anyone was saying.

the acoustics are awful. I am surprised they haven't done something about that part. It was impossible to understand the speeches and the calling of kids names were even worse.

That’s disappointing.

Especially when the family sitting in the next row screams loudly for their kid--and you cannot hear the name of your own kid because she is next.
