You keep recommending Pact and I really want to buy their stuff but does anyone know how they fit? Cotton is not stretchy. So I'm a little nervous. I don't know if I'm a S or M, so probably a M but such a pain not to try things on.

They have some of them at my Whole Foods. You could go eyeball them and hold them up. The fabric isn’t stretchy at all and feels a little hemp-y.

They have these dresses at Whole Foods and REI.

? to the bolded. I shop REI a lot and have never seen Pact dresses there. I like the silhouettes for Pact but when you charge me for shipping & returns, I'm not ordering just to try it on.

Same! I do have some tees from them which I like but the one time I bought a pair of pants I didn't really like how they fit, but they were on heavy sale and I was too lazy to return. But I can also fluctuate between S and M and have hesitated to try the dresses becasue of this.

I think you're responding to me. I am 5"9/130 lbs and wear a medium in Pact clothes. If you're hell bent on stretchy summer clothes, I don't know what to tell you. Stretchy doesn't usally corralate with breathable.

I bought two of the Quince washable silk dresses to wear on trips this summer. They’re very lightweight and should be easy to pack. Hopefully wrinkles will come out if I hang them in a steamy bathroom.
I also purchase a Quince linen dress, since linen usually looks ok even when wrinkled.

I bought a Pact dress last summer based on DCUM recommendations and I was really disappointed by the fabric quality. It was thin and clingy.

Southern Tide has dresses that are a stretchy fabric similar to swimsuit material.
