This isn’t a product for athletes. It’s purposely made to be a few calories as possible with the most protein. And to do that a lot of artificial ingredients are used. This is a product for middle aged people wanting to lose weight but wanting shortcuts and something to satisfy sweet craving. But they would be better off still by eating real foods |
| I decided to try Owyn Elite Pro 32g protein drink. It’s plant-based, probably better for me than Fairlife (which I like a lot), but it has a slightly metallic taste to me. |
| My teenaged son has Crohn's and his doctor said specifically to avoid Carageenan as it triggers and exacerbates. Banned in Europe. |
An athlete struggling to get in enough calories would be drinking whole milk or chocolate milk. |
I boycott all Fairlife because of the artificial sweeteners. Manufacturers, please use sugar, but just LESS sugar. People's tastes will adapt. They don't do it because everyone is already addicted to things that are too crazy sweet. |
This is mostly consumed by active young people. Not middle aged people. This is a good product. |
