Some of my favorite lesser known comedies/ dark comedies from the 2010s: Catastrophe, You're The Worst, Married, Bad Sisters. Not sure where they are streaming currently. They are not mindless or family friendly but they're good!
Also second the apple tv recs of Ted Lasso and Shrinking. For a more family friendly sitcom Kim's Convenience was very cute. I just looked it up, though, and it is leaving Netflix in June! |

Thank you for putting on radar OP. Gosh that era from
10-15 years ago suddenly seems so quaint compared to today. I’ll enjoy it. |
OP I watched Kim's Convenience awhile ago. It is very cute. These suggestions look great! |

+1 I loved this show when it first came out! We would laugh so hard. My favorite character was Dahlia and her "creation station." Surprised I've never seen her in anything else before or after. |
What's wrong with you? |
+1 Most of my shows these days are on Apple TV. Slow Horses is a dark comedy that we LOVE. Another show by the same author is Down Cemetery Road, also a dark comedy. OP, if you have BritBox, Motherhood is hilarious. Might be able to get that on Prime also. Life in Pieces is also great. |
I had a long recovery from surgery and watched Parks and Recreation from start to finish. I’d never seen any of it, and it was perfect. You should get Apple + for a while and watch this, Ted Lasso, Shrinking, The Studio and Platonic. |
She was in the main cast of Mr. Robot—which I thought was a great show. |
| I believe the actress that played Dahlia is in Imperfect Women. |
