Suburgatory: Netflix

Anonymous
I'm injured and bed ridden. I think I'm almost to the end of Netflix and found this show. It's so funny! There's this one character, Dallas, how is so freakin' funny! And it's clean so safe for family watching. Mindless too.

Anybody else watched?

What other shows slipped under the radar? I started having children in 2011 so didn't really watch tv for the next decade...

Yes, watched this shortly after it was released and loved it back then. I've been wanting to rewatch it for ages and was so excited that Netflix has it now.

OP here. anything else you liked "back then"? I also have Hulu.

I watched some of it early on and then lost interest.
There's only so many precocious knowitall teen girls who are *so cool* that I can take in a season.

Not really. There were a couple of older shows I liked but now I can't stand shows with laugh tracks, so that has ruined a lot of them.

You're "almost to the end" of Netflix? Maybe you should branch out of your usual, then.

Be nice. I have a severely broken leg with about a pound of metal in it. I have a strong list of things to watch but they are serious, drama, high-art, or depressing.

Right now, while in discomfort, I want to laugh. I'm watching a stupid SNL knock-off movie right now. It's working.

Feel better OP! Laughter is the best medicine!

Negative mean responses like this baffle me. Like why do you bother to post…judge & kick someone whose down and looking for connection and advice? What a miserable piece you are.

OP, highly recommend Hulu and Apple TV if you’re looking for more, lots of light hearted fun content! Ted Lasso, Shrinking…to name a couple.

I recently discovered this show too. It’s mostly just satirical, silly, and light with some sweet moments too. It’s a great little escape.

That’s when I had kids too and can’t believe I missed peaky blinders. Just binged that one and I have to say it is one of the best shoes ever.

I loved it. Was very disappointed when it was canceled.
