Trollhunters. YMMV on darker themes and scares but my kid loves dinosaurs and those are both good coming of age stories. 8yo POC kid. |

| My kids just watched The Hollow. Not educational but really interesting, like LOST but for a cartoon for kids. Ages 8 and 10. Also Avatar the Last Airbender, Last Kiss on Earth. Not educational but long arc stories my kids were really interested in |

Probably Parent Trap is the best. It was filmed at an actually sleepaway camp in Maine (the Patty Duke one). I prefer the OG Parent Trap, but kids may like the Lindsay Lohan one better…maybe there is an even newer variation. |
