If you are truly in the know, there really aren't many MOCO players going Division 1 out of High School. Most players in this area are playing at high acedemic D3 schools and then maybe transferring D1 post graduation.

| If you are at a MCPS high school, many of the schools play fall ball and even summer ball. The league is cheap like $350 for the season; your kid will play with kids from his high school. The programs above are $4000+ not including travel fees. There is no reason you need to pay $250+ a night to play in some random tournament in Salisbury or spend a week in Georgia or Boston. Spend your money on a pitching coach, fielding coach and/or hitting coach. Write to college coaches, send video, and attend their camps if they show genuine interest. |
