for those of you who consign.....

Has anyone tried depop? I see similar stuff selling there for a good price but I don’t know if those are established sellers etc.

Don't do ThredUp, they'll give you pennies. It used to be good for consigning but no longer.

I do ThredUp and make a hundred dollars on one of their big clean out bags.
It isn't anywhere near what I could make on Poshmark or ebay but it's more than I would have gotten by just donating it.

The idea of “poor people” gratefully wearing your old stuff is one of dcum’s weirdest fetishes.

It really is.

So many folks feeling magnanimous at the thought of selling their teen DD's last season Lily dress and Lulu skort. But not magnanimous enough to donate it to Goodwill, lol.

As I recall Uptown Cheapskate may not take the Ann Taylor or Lily Pulitzer, they cater to teens and young adults and don't take office wear-type items.
Unique only takes donations.
The Mustard Seed and Reddz trading will consign items. The Mustard Seed I think limits the number they will look at (like maybe 20 or so from any one seller).
You can sell stuff on eBay, but check completed listings to see if it's worth it. (Go search up your item, see how many are available and what people are asking, then filter by "completed items" so you can see what price the same item actually sold for)
The thing to remember is that none of this is easy money ... It's going to be work.

More work than it is worth.
