Ojai, CA where we have family. I signed up my child for a week-long summer camp so the adults can go do adult stuff during the day while DC is in camp.

Rented a place on a lake in VT with DHs family. Everyone will have their own rooms. 3 have en suites so that takes care of us, his parents, and his sister. DS and one of his cousins will share a room with bunk beds per their choice, so will end up with one unused bedroom. Thankfully, I really like my in laws.

I would find that much time in PEI boring with my kids but that’s maybe because we could never pull off idyllic.

We enjoy road trips and have done Lake Placid and the Olympic sites, UP of Michigan (Mackinac Island for a few nights, too,) Ogelbay Resort in WV, Bedford Springs Resort, Niagra on the Lake/Niagra Falls.
