For 14 under 100 would be pretty normal. Her weight at that height and age isn't worrisome.

Context matters. 13 yr olds should be gaining weight, not losing weight. While her daughter isn’t underweight at this moment, it does sounds like she is consuming far too few calories and will drop in weight quickly if it keeps up.

Agree with the others -- seems like she has some worrisome behaviors. The nutritionist is a good idea, because she can spell out an adequate amount of food and your daughter might be more receptive since it's not coming from you. Good luck.

OP here. I am a concerned mom who posted before. So, for better context - she does not eat food at home. She reportedly ate acai bowl for breakfast (I was not there but I know they went out with friends), then she fixed salad at home when i was away, and then she had dinner out with friends again and she said she ate, salmon and fries. I had her all-time favourite snack baked when she got home, and she did not even look at at, just ran to her room. If she really eats what she claims, thens he is just avoiding curbs? She does have scolios but it is not too bad.

If she actually ate that, good. But as someone who had an ED as a teen, you basically lie as easily as you breath so I am skeptical. I would be able to tell my parents a detailed review of my day of eating when in reality it was diet snapple til about 6pm, a few spears of asparagus and half a chicken breast. If she is lying, she way overshot with the fries. A fried carb?!

If she consumers no food at the house, and refuses most things at home, she is likely being untruthful about what she eats outside the house and is aware you are concerned and probing. I would hate to do this, but based on her eating habits and current weight, I would start weighing her weekly. Explain to her that you are concerned about her eating habits and you believe she may be having difficulty getting enough nutrients at a very critical time to her growing and developing. You need to keep on eye on her weight for the sake of her health. Weigh her first thing in the morning, before she has a chance to drink a bunch of water and weight her backwards. It can be hard to notice weight loss under 10 lbs..but she really can’t afford for you to not to notice her losing weight until she has lost that much.

Call pediatrician immediately for referrals.

Time to get help is now before she stops eating altogether. Once that mindset takes hold it is very very difficult to course correct.
Please find her a counselor who specializes in EDs this weekend.

But she's not losing weight, she's watching what she eats. She doesn't need a diet full of carbs. At 14 she may be at her adult height too.

Her favourite snack? Where are you posting from? Scolios?

I would be very concerned. See a nutritionist asap

man, you people who are saying under 100 lbs is good and she doesn't need a lot of carbs are the reason we get body dysmorphia and disordered eating!

no, she doesn't need cookies and chips all day, but there are lots of carbs that are good... whole wheat pasta, sourdough bread, sweet potato, etc

If you are not seeing her eat, she’s not eating.
Read Second Star to the Right by Debora Hautzig and then read it with your daughter than GET HELP YESTERDAY.

I’m assuming OP hasn’t been closely monitoring her weight for the past year, since she said this has only been going on recently, so there is no way to know if she has lost weight recently. It’s possible she had lost 5 lbs in the past 2 weeks, but when OP took her to the doctor she appears a couple pounds heavier or the same weight as when she was last at the doctor a year ago (or whenever she was last there prior to this starting). Some things you cannot deny, and if her kid is restricting her food intake to what OP says, she is likely eating fewer than 1000 calories per day and will absolutely lose weight.

It doesn't matter if she's adult height. She needs to feed brain and body to get through school. She doesn't need to eat just carbs, but she does need to have a mix of real foods... and currently? She's not eating anything in front of a parent at all, so she may not be eating much at all.
