Bad tree pollen season?

Yes, it's worse because it warmed up suddenly, the temps went down again, and it hasn't been rainy enough. This hot week will be brutal, but hopefully over soon.

I’m so itchy and uncomfortable. I don’t even think there’s anything left except shots or sublingual drops. I’m barely outside and every room has an air purifier. I’ve been like this for all of my 50 years

Have you considered allergy shots? They really work even on adults. My husband is finishing up a 5 year course and the difference is amazing. Years ago he almost couldn’t go out in the spring. Now he feels almost nothing and at most needs some Zyrtec on occasion.

I cannot breathe today. Wondering ifnit may be a virus but it is really classic allergy symptoms: runny nose, itchy eyes, itchy throat. Just REALLY bad! I was outside a lot this weekend so thinking it may be that.

Beisdes your usual claritin/zyetec and benadryl what do people use for relieve?

Yes, it is really bad here. Shallow unproductive cough and itchiness and fog.

Cars covered in pollen and the wind today kicked it all up. Tree pollen is at extreme levels.

Yeah, allergies can cause post-nasal drip which can cause a cough.

Does anyone else have allergies that present a little bit odd? For me I get fluid in my ears, and then sometimes I’ll get an upset stomach, which I think it’s related to all of the drainage in my head.

I can feel all the pollen on my face and eye lashes just walking to the car. It's discusting out there...

I'm also having a productive cough with mucus is this a cold or allergies?

You'll find out soon enough - if just allergies it should subside overnight, but if you have a cold you'll definitely deteriorate evening/morning.

Source: had a pretty nasty 7-10 day cold and just got over it, but now still dealing with allergies during the day time. Much better at night/morning though.

Who are these people driving around in convertibles completely oblivious to the pollen?

Just terrible. Worst for me ever. Had to close windows and turn on the ac. Google pollen counts. Very high this week and extremely high this weekend.
I have experienced itchy red eyes, itchy throat, clogged ears, ear pain, post nasal drip, sneezing, vertigo, exhaustion etc. Mistakenly thought going for a walk one morning this week then learned by reading that the counts are worse in the morning. It was literally “snowing” pollen and tree seeds. I wore a hat and sun glasses and it was still bad.

I use Allegra and Zyrtec alternating, eye drops, sinus rinse with saline, asteline spray…..

I’m on the H1H2 tip 2x a day and still barely functioning. Actually, I’m not functioning. I’ve been in bed the past two days and my nose is running like a faucet. Or completely shut off from the outside world. It fluctuates. Ears blocked. I know it’s allergies, but it feels like the damn flu. I don’t want go outside ever again at the moment.

Nasal congestion, headache, sneezing loggies and coughing up a lung. Fun times. Pollen extreme level and bad air quality today. This area is unlivable in too many ways.
