Driving Suspension

Sounds like a craptastic school. One that punishes upper classmen for, gasp, being excited about spring weather and closing in in the end of the year.

That's a relief. Still a dumb punishment they punishes the parents (who pay the bills and would be potential future donors...uh no thanks).

OP again. Honestly, I agree. I know it's classic teenage excusing, but I really believe that a ton of kids do it daily. She admitted to 3 or 4 times since the weather got nice. She seriously walked one block with a half dozen friends and purchased a Diet Coke. (I can see the receipt on her debit card and it's not a regular thing)

She just got really unlucky that a teacher who knew her drove by. Or her friend got really lucky.

He can’t suspend her driving privileges only her parking on campus privileges.
I’d be pissed at this punishment unless she was previously warned it would happen and she ignored the warning and did it anyway.
If that was the case I’d make her uber and pay for it herself.
If not the case and the was given this punishment with no prior warning I would email the school and ask for a different punishment. Lunchtime suspension for a week sounds way more appropriate.

She didn't get unlucky. She did it and got caught. Her behavior was wrong. You change your work trip as you are fine with the behavior and drive her.

There's no wrong in taking Uber. The app ask if you want a female driver. Once she hooks up with a female driver and feels comfortable she can make a side deal where the driver can pick her up every morning and every after school evening. My wife has three different female drivers that has made side deals with them. Like paying half as much as what they charge.

Schedule uber now, and daughters must pay.
