I still will read her books regardless.
I really do not care whether or not an author is using their real name or not. I like her books actually. I find them hugely entertaining to read. |
Interesting— it was something she mentioned in a FB comment. Per google AI: “Freida McFadden (Author): The author of popular domestic thrillers like The Housemaid (who is also a practicing physician) has mentioned that she finds the intense online interest in her real-life identity to be "parasocial and scary," comparing the obsession with her anonymity to the way celebrities are stalked.” |
|
Once I begin reading any of her books, I cannot put it down at all!
I have to start one of her books only if I do not have work or other commitments scheduled the next day. Thankfully her books are not complicated with physician language. |
ha intersting -- the AI answer sounds more plausible than her "boring" real answer (?) |

I just saw an article on this in this wk’s People magazine.
What I do not understand is >> will she continue using her original moniker for future novels or start using her new, real name? The article did not say. |
|
She probably will continue using her professional name since using her real one now would likely confuse people who do not know that isn’t her real name.
I mean, she has already created a brand w/it. A fanbase per say. |

I love reading her suspenseful/thriller books so I could care less what name she uses.
Apparently I am in good company too because both Walmart and Target have a ton of her books on their shelves. I just recently finished reading “Dear Debbie” and am anxiously awaiting her next title! |
