Berries, bananas, mandarin oranges, granola bars, Yogurt, gatorade if it's hot, pretzels. Whatever your kid likes.

It stops around 10U. I've lived all over the US and seen this everywhere on every sport, it's not even regional. Baseball moms also like to get into the theme and will do the decorated bag with Big League Chew, Cracker Jack boxes, and sunflower seeds.

+1. My kids are in HS and have played so many sports. It was when they were young, with the exception of one club sport in middle school. It’s been random and the common theme is an extra over the top parent who likes organizing this stuff.

Make your life easy. Pick up a box of anything at Costco if you are there, or the grocery store of anything on sale, or if you don’t have time and it’s your turn, get donuts that morning.

My sons are 21 and 19 now and we always brought healthy individual sized snacks that we liked because you'll be let with whats left.

Kind bars, bags of almonds, bags of trail mix, and fig newtons. Do not bring doritos/chips.

Your kids aren't that old but nuts are pretty much out these days and have been for a long time, I also have a teenager.

Nuts are a great snack and healthy.

If your kid is allergic, deal. But I'm not denying my kids nutrition. It's not like we're all crammed on an airplane.

It does not matter. The kids whose parents bring almonds is the kid who will step on everyone to get at the box of doritos and will try to take 6 bags when his almond-mom turns around. One bag of chips is not doing any harm. Do they need it? NO. But if the team is doing it, I play along.

I cannot imagine bringing bags of nuts for a kid snack rotation and would absolutely be shocked to see anyone else do it.

They don't even burn any calories playing baseball, its just standing around. I *still* would never bring bags of nuts or trail mix. That's wild that anyone who has had kids in the last 20 years thought that was acceptable.

+1. Get the individual bag assortment of snacks and a bunch of Capri Sun or mini Gatorades. No nuts. Done.

My kids aren’t allergic, dumb ass. But nobody does nuts anymore. You’re way out of touch.

If your kids aren’t 19 and 21 you have no clue what 8yr olds are doing.

Cool it, Grandma. You haven’t been around an 8U team in decades if ever.

I just do snack packs (Goldfish, crackers, etc) and juice boxes or Capri Suns to be honest.

There’s always a nut allergic kid and a celiac kid on my son’s team. We do popcorn and/or fruit snacks.

I coached one just four years ago. And you need to upset your insult game. It's not like your feelings or opinions about this are valid.

OK, but my kids aren't 19 and 21? What, exactly, are you trying to communicate? Were you born stupid or just dropped on your head as a baby?
