My drop 1 spot opens tomorrow. Is there anything good left? Is it better to wait for another drop? If I got a spot in this drop, will I get a spot in another?

No one really knows. I had a slot yesterday and everything was either sold out or egregiously expensive. We live in the hunger games now. This is for the elites.

I tried to go in, today, when my slot opened. But its not showing any tickets at any price point. Is everything sold out for drop 1?

I believe if you are under the 12 tickets max, you are automatically entered into future drop lotteries.

I went in today and it was the less popular events or $800+

Tried to get tickets yesterday and most of the things I was interested were no available. What was available was too expensive, especially if I am only able to go to one event when you factor in travel and housing.

My LA local friend got us tickets on Day 1 of the presale, we were very lucky. From that one we got fencing, basketball, swimming, beach volleyball and speed climbing. Total for 12 tickets was $1100 (so $550 each). I then got a slot last Friday on Day 2 of Drop 1, but I knew it wasn't going to be good, which was so frustrating! I was able to get 2 tickets to soccer preliminaries (will take my son to Columbus, we are in the Midwest). That wasn't a bad deal because tickets were $100 each, but it's 2 games, and we can drive without needing a hotel. I let my 12 regular tickets go and hope I get into drop 2. Really just want track now.

I went to a professional swim meet to experience it live and discovered that I much prefer to watch swimming on TV with the underwater cameras, the commentary and the replays. I guess it will be a one month subscription to Peacock for me.

Wait to see if they will charge you $150 for transportation to the event like NJ is doing.
