Anybody else with property in SoCal or OKC get the opportunity to spill coin all over the place with the presale this week? Real price bloodbath - don’t remember the pricing being this crazy in previous years.

We signed up for the next round. Guessing we'll hear about time slot for purchase (if we are lucky) tomorrow. How much are tickets? We've never been. |
| We entered the regular (non-resident) draw and have not received a time slot. Hoping we may hear today or else will hope for better luck in second draw. |

Also waiting to see if I get a slot today for the non-local sale. I hate that they want us to buy 2 years early.
I'm just hoping to grab a few of the lowest priced tickets since I can't justify dropping thousands when there's a good chance we might not be able to go. But my kids are also only interested in weird sports like climbing and ping pong--so I'm not going for the high profile stuff. My bigger issue is trying to convince my best friend who lives in LA that she wants us to visit her for a week instead of renting her house out and getting out of town.

Allegedly, there are $28 tickets for every event, but they go up to $2000 for basic tickets, higher for package deals/premium seats. Plus a 24% service charge. |

Received a window of 4/17-19.
Last time we bought Olympic tix it was London 2012. Looks like I put in my first ticket request in April 2011. And then we waited to see if we lucked out... |
| I got a time slot for 04/10 - 04/12. Heard a little after 5:30 PM. Are there people who didn’t receive a spot? |
| I did not receive a spot. Instead I got an email saying I may be in future drawings. |
| We spent 2K for 4 different events (11 tickets total)... ouch. |
| Our window opens this afternoon. I'm not hopeful about ticket prices |
| They’re not adding any tickets for Drop 1, so it’s just what is left from pre-sale. Not sure if there will be anything to choose from during my time slot. |
| The ticket prices are obscene…$200 a ticket for a single preliminary baseball game? $250 for table tennis? In true SoCal fashion they are going to fleece everyone. It looks like they’re going to clear people out of events after a couple hours. For most events $200-$500 get you one match/game of the team sports, and a 2-3 hour session of the sports like track/gymnastics/swimming. Even rowing, sailing, archery and mountain biking are crazy expensive. |
| Sounds like many sports are already sold out and he cheapest tickets left are over $200. My drop 1 spot doesn’t even open until next week-so I guess I’ll be waiting for future drops since it sounds like nothing will be left. |
I'm this PP. I had to take a hard pass on tickets. I guess we could technically afford some if then, but I don't want to pay $1000 for a family of 4 to watch one preliminary round game between random countries. That before what I'm sure will be grossly increased airfare and hotels. I'm going to have bank on corporate connections providing me tickets. |
| I’m local and got cheap tickets last weekend $28 and $44. |
