I like Claire and Alice.
Emma is too popular for my taste. I prefer Cassandra to Cassidy. I don't care for Mackenzie, it feels dated to me. |
|
I can’t stand Emma or Claire. Those are the worst names on your list. They’re just so plain and ugly to me. Very overused. Every other girl at my suburban high school was named Emma or Claire. They usually weren’t nice people either.
Alice sounds like it would be the name of an elderly woman. Mackenzie isn’t too bad but gives spoiled mean girl and/or airhead vibes. Cassidy is the best name on your list. It sounds like the name of a sweet, down-to-earth girl. |
I agree that Cassandra is better than Cassidy. |
| I've never understood why people care if a name is popular or not. If you like it, use it. |
| I don't particularly like any of these but if you must stick to these then Emma sounds better. To be fair, unless a name is really bad or difficult, it doesn't matter that much. In current world, probably best to pick something universal, easy to spell and easy to pronounce. |

love Claire and Alice
like Emma Cassidy is fine don’t care much for Mackenzie, but I can see it if it’s a family name |
|
I like Emma, Claire, Alice and Cassidy (I actually like it and its different).
Big no to Mackenzie. |
Stripper/tacky names. Don’t do that to your daughter |
|
Hard no to Mackenzie (will get spelled infinite bad ways, I associate it with like mormon mommy blogger vibes)
Claire/Alice are the same category for me: not bad, a little boring Cassidy I like that it has personality, can you deal with Cass/cassie? I also like Cassandra better though and I think it’s a tick for refined and classic than Cassidy which gives me 60’s folk-rock vibes Emma is very pretty and was so overdone for a while but I feel like if you had an Emma now she would be the only one in her class. |
Agree. Those give teen mom vibes. |
| Alice wins |
| I love Cassidy. I don’t like the rest. They’re not my taste. |
Did you by chance name your DD Keturah? |
Most of the people who care about it are the ones who grew up with a common name and hated it. People think having a basic name equates to being a basic person. |
No?! That’s bad in a different way. |
