Why LOL? PP wasn't wrong. |
OP asked for recommendations on the “best” salads, not the healthiest or lowest in calories. She even made it clear that limiting calories was not her goal by sharing her own recommendation for a high calorie salad she thinks is very good. If somebody asked for recommendations on who has the best ice cream, would a comment about ice cream being high in calories answer the question? |
So you found that response LOL-worthy? ok. |
| I love the tuna salad with mango at seasons 52. |
|
OP here and yes I like salad and obviously lots of salads can be very caloric.
Thanks to those who actually gave recommendations. I have never been to either Coastal Flats or Seasons 52 but may try one out for a solo lunch one of these days. |

I like chopt! Their Mexican green goddess dressing is so good. I also like the crispy shallots as a topper.
That pizza place at wildwood has a good arugula salad but it’s pretty basic, I’ll admit. Surprises no one has mentioned flower child — I haven’t been but it seems like salads should be a strength there. |
| Fish taco has delicious salads. |
| Agree on Fish Taco - I like the Ancho Shrimp salad. New place for me - now I love the falafel bowl (salad) at Falafel Inc. I used to love Coastal Flats but was underwhelmed last time I went. |
| I like the mista salad at Ema Rossi in Rockville - you can add chicken, shrimp, or salmon but it is also great just as is. |
+1 |
| I’m not sure if this counts as a salad, but I like the platters with chicken at Halal Guys. Maybe do all salad and skip the rice. I could eat these every week. |
| I really like the superfood salad at Burtons. |
That one is good! I like the tenderloin one with blue cheese there too. I also like any of their soups, with any of their side salads and a side of grilled chicken. |
It's literally in the original post. OP is looking for a lower calorie salad than the one Cobb she likes. |
But she said that she doesn't eat it much because it's high in calories. |
