What are you basing these recommendations on because there is no way you have personal experience with all of them. This thread is not super helpful if people are just throwing out what they have heard through the grapevine about coaches.

How do you know I don’t? You’re an ass$&@

Ever stop to think we’ve moved or have multiple kids or can you not think that intelligently?

You moved so your kid swam for Dory Halbe at Prep and then Jeremy Linn at West? It can’t be the other way around because of the groups they coach. I’ll take things that never happened for $100.

How did this thread turn so negative so quickly?

Because people with actual feedback don’t want to post it here in case it’s identifiable, which leaves you with people with axes to grind.

How would identifying excellent coaches identify the poster? We are at NCAP-Loudoun, and no way could you figure out who I was if I were to identify an excellent coach. There are far too many swimmers/parents. If anything, this type of thread would help people know whether to go to a certain club/switch clubs.

Until you post the name of a beloved coach and pages of people pile on about how they're actually awful trash and that club is trash and NCAP or bust.

Nope, not playing this game.

Chris Schlegel of ASA. A very professional, goal and detail oriented coach whose voice could be louder during his swimmers' races than any other coach at any meet in PVS for sure maybe in the entire country. He's been selected one of the 50 best age group coaches in the U.S. so I guess he is pretty good at what he does.

That’s an invitation for shoulder injuries if I ever heard one.
