Research is a drop in the bucket of that spending. The public portion of the research spending is a few cents of every healthcare dollar. Canceling research studies is not going to fix our healthcare problem. Not even close. |

This is the only decent response to the news that someone has cancer. At the same time, I think it's appropriate to note that the administration for which she works has made massive cuts to cancer research, including for breast cancer research, and has slowed advances in the prevention of breast cancer. |
