Three-hundred-fifteen (315) farms filed for bankruptcy, up 46% from 2024, in the year 2025. I expect the number will be even greater in 2026. The bailouts is not enough and does not nearly replace what the farmers have lost due to Trump's policies. Of course, as a group, farmers overwhelming voted for Trump in the last three elections.

It’ll be interesting to see how farmers voted during the midterms.

Oil > $100 a barrel
~30% increase at pump
Mortgages >6%.
We replaced one Supreme Leader with his more hardline son, whose whole family we killed

We murdered ~160 girls
Everybody in world but Bibi is pissed at us.

Spent more in 1 week on war than USAID costed for 6 months.

sums it up, so far

Also,
*jet fuel is up which is already affecting plane ticket prices
*the cost of fertilizer is up significantly, already affecting farmers in the US and elsewhere as planting season approaches
*increased gas prices will very soon affect the cost of food
*we're already seeing an increase in terrorist incidents in the US (two just today--the one at the synagogue and the one at ODU)

I would imagine that people are not to going to do a lot of traveling what with trumps new terrorist production strategy going on.

Iran has single-handedly compressed a decade of American imperial decline into a single week.

The world now has empirical evidence that American military omnipotence is a narrative rather than a reality.

OP here. You’re welcome to find some positive examples and post them here. But anll examples are a matter of perspective. For example, Russia stands to make a lot of money off their oil due to this war, which is good for them but bad for the war in Ukraine and for European efforts to diminish Russia’s power.

DP.
I don’t care as much about whether it’s good for Russia.
I am worried it makes Americans potential targets and contributes to inflation and disrupted travel.

Price of aluminum will soar since about 30% of the world's supply is smelted in the Gulf region and needs the Strait to leave.

Dubai is the world's largest re-exporter so the supply chain for many, many different things will be all screwed up. Again.

Sounds like it might be coming.

Good job, America. Way to support Iranian people.

“President Donald Trump’s invocation of the 25-year-old bombing of an American warship as part of his justification for launching a massive bombing campaign against Iran could hamper long-running Pentagon efforts to finally bring the alleged terrorists accused of perpetrating the terror attack to justice.

On two occasions over the nearly two weeks since the Defense Department launched Operation Epic Fury against targets across Iran, Trump has claimed Tehran was responsible for the October 2000 bombing of U.S.S. Cole, a grisly attack that killed 17 U.S. Navy sailors and left 37 others injured.”
