We used to love Olazzo and Pines of Rome, so either they’ve gone downhill or no family friendly Italian food in this area is going to please you, OP.

We like Sal’s in Cabin John, but it’s probably on par with Gregorio’s and Mamma Lucia. These remind me the most of NY/NJ style Italian restaurants.

Try Roberto’s Ristorante Italiano in Vienna, VA. I believe they have a $40 family menu one day per week.
