Shut up PP. PC has recently posted on $20K of this ridiculous spending, and I am glad to see this publicity. How about putting $20K into supplies that teachers can use, instead of this logo-garbage.

What is up with this stupid substack and its petty grievances all the time? Is this the Queen Mad Mommy of MoCo who is Big Mad about everything?

You know what people think of someone who's always angry, right? They're disregarded as cranks because nothing pleases them. Their anger ceases to be effective.

LOL. MCPS communication practices at work here, with its "Mad Mommies." sneering. That came right out of Taylor's mouth and staff is repeating it.

Some of our PTA’s cannot raise 10k even with a lot of effort and many hours let alone keep our food and clothing pantries full. How about using that money to paying for lunches for kids who don’t qualify for free lunch but parents struggling? Those bags are one use and thrown away. Waste.

Don’t they need school supplies? You can get a lot of supplies with 10k. Why are they wasting money like this??

Logo bags actually aren’t a waste especially if this is going out county wide. This is actually a really typical expense for marketing material for any company. Even non profit orgs buy swag like this.

Yes, it is. People usually trash it. They can use paper bags with a stamp if it’s so important. How about instead of this swag, giving each teacher $500 to spend on supplies from a place of their choice every year.

Why does Mcps need to market?
