Employers need to bring WFH like pandemic era due to war time economy/gas

I agree, OP.
Whatever effect RTO had on getting people to quit is mostly over. Might as well let people telework again, at least until AI comes along and takes the rest of the jobs

And airline tickets will go up and so will all summer travel.

So Musk and Tesla will get a boost? And US oil producers? Yeah, not happening.

I’m OK if that if it means less people will travel and the places we go will be less crowded. I invite it in fact!

The Republicans should allow cheaper EVs like China has. US is way behind because the rich MAGA want us dependent on oil.

Didn’t Barron just make a ton of money on oil??

Perhaps you should stop being a crappy employer and pay your workers more.

Please feel free to quit.

Please feel free to F off. People like you contribute nothing. Just pox on the butt of humanity.

Whoa, I didn’t know this!
Another one of a thousand reasons this whole thing needs to be slowed down.

Perhaps you should have earned a stronger degree so you could have attained a better socioeconomic status.

Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand instituted this last week.
Korea announcing new measures imminently. Price of oil skyrocketing and markets down today.

I say the exact opposite for many. I was living alone in a 6,000 sf house last time oil prices was high. going to work saved me a ton of fuel.

I used to move Thermosat in winter to 50 degrees at 730 am and leave it there till 7pm when got home. I summmer I move AC to 80 degrees at 730 am to 7pm.

I also had two zone heating so once in bed I only had heat or AC on in top level.

working from home would cost me a fortune. My heating bill and AC bill was extremely little when in the office. During COVID it went sky high.

For example my last job was nearly all young single people. In the heat wave last year we were running in my dept only 100 air conditioners while we were remote. If we were in office they all could have turned off their AC.

What is wrong with quitting and finding a better job? If you don’t want to commute, find a remote job.
